Minulla oli Mitorajin pronssi vuosia enkä tiennyt, miten myydä se yksityisesti. Vastaus tuli välittömästi ja tarjous oli reilu. Kaikki hoidettiin hienovaraisesti.
Myin perityn Centurionen. Keräilijä tiesi tarkalleen, mitä se oli, ja teki vakavan tarjouksen 24 tunnin kuluessa. Yksinkertaista ja ammattimaista.
Ei huutokauppakuluja, ei odottamista. Lähetin kuvat ja sain tarjouksen saman päivän aikana. Maksu oli nopea ja turvallinen. Suosittelen lämpimästi kaikille Mitorajin teosten omistajille.
Huutokauppayhtiöt perivät myyjiltä 10–18% palkkion huutokauppahinnasta — lisäksi konsignaation käsittelyyn kuluu 4–12 viikkoa, ja maksuun vielä kuukausi. Koko prosessi kestää kuukausia ja palkkio vähennetään. Suora myynti tarkoittaa tarjousta samana päivänä ja maksua muutamassa päivässä, ilman palkkiota.
Teen tarjoukset nykyisten huutokauppamarkkinahintojen perusteella. En etsi alennusmyyntiä — etsin teoksia vakavaan kokoelmaan ja maksan sen mukaisesti. Jokainen tiedustelu käsitellään täydellisellä luottamuksellisuudella.
Harkitsen kaikkia teoksia: pronssia, marmoria, litografioita, piirroksia ja ainutlaatuisia esineitä. Kaikki kunnot hyväksytään. Jos et ole varma omistamasi teoksen aitoudesta, annan sinulle rehellisen arvion maksutta ja ilman myyntivelvollisuutta.

Research by Series
Huutokauppakodit tarjoavat hintaläpinäkyvyyttä, mutta veloittavat myyjiltä 10–18 %:n provision lähtöhinnasta, vaativat 4–12 viikkoa konsignaation käsittelyyn ja vielä 4–8 viikkoa maksuun. Esimerkiksi 4 000 €:lla myydystä teoksesta 30 %:n provision maksava myyjä saa vain noin 2 800 € — neljästä kuuteen kuukauden odotuksen jälkeen. Suora myynti minulle tarkoittaa tarjousta samana päivänä, maksua muutamassa päivässä ja nolla provisiota.
Maksan nykyisten huutokauppamarkkinoiden tasojen perusteella. En etsi halpoja ostoksia — etsin teoksia vakavaan kokoelmaan lisättäväksi ja maksan sen mukaisesti. Kaikkia kyselyjä käsitellään täydellä harkinnalla: nimeäsi, osoitettasi ja teoksesta jakamasi tietoja ei koskaan paljasteta kolmansille osapuolille.
Useat tekijät määräävät minkä tahansa Mitoraj-teoksen markkina-arvon. Painosmäärä on tärkein: Artcurialin 8 kappaleen painos (Prométhée) on vertaansa vailla harvinaisempi kuin 1500 kappaleen painos (Centurione II). Mittakaava merkitsee valtavasti — 40 cm pronssi on kolmesta neljään kertaa arvokkaampi kuin 20 cm esimerkki samasta aiheesta. Patinan kunto on ratkaiseva; liiaksi puhdistetut tai restauroidut pronssit menettävät merkittävästi arvoaan. Provenienssi — todistus Atelier Mitorajilta tai huutokaupparekisteri — lisää luottamusta, mutta on harvoin ratkaiseva hyvin dokumentoiduille painoksille. Alkuperäinen jalusta (travertiini, marmori tai puu teoksesta riippuen) lisää useimpien pöytäpronssien arvoa.
Harkitsen teoksia missä tahansa kunnossa, sertifikaateilla tai ilman, alkuperäisillä jalustoilla tai ilman. Jos et ole varma, onko omistamasi teos aito, annan sinulle rehellisen arvion — myyntivelvoitetta ei ole.
Mitoraj-markkinat ovat vahvistuneet huomattavasti vuoden 2025 ennätyshuutokaupan jälkeen Varsovassa, jossa Tindaro saavutti 6,89 miljoonaa PLN (noin 1,6 miljoonaa €) — korkeimman hinnan, joka on koskaan maksettu Mitorajista puolalaisessa huutokaupassa. Mitoraj syntyi Saksassa puolalaiselle äidille ja ranskalaiselle isälle, opiskeli Tadeusz Kantorin johdolla Krakovassa kuvataideakatemiassa ja perusti sen jälkeen ateljeensa italialaiseen Pietrasantaan — samojen louhimoiden läheisyydessä, jotka toimittivat marmoria Michelangelolle.
Hänen fragmentoidut hahmonsa — sidotut, leikatut, rauhalliset — amensivat klassisesta antiikista samalla kun ne puhuivat täysin modernista tilasta. Hänen teoksensa seisovat Lontoossa, Pariisissa, Pompeijissa ja kokoelmissa ympäri maailmaa.
Henkilöllisyytesi ja kaikki teokset pysyvät täysin yksityisenä. Mitään yksityiskohtia ei jaeta kolmansille osapuolille.
Teen suoria, rehellisiä tarjouksia. Ei monimutkaisia arvioita, ei painetta — pelkästään reilu ja yksinkertainen keskustelu.
Kun sopimus on tehty, maksu on tilillänne 48 tunnin kuluessa. Ei huutokauppasyklejä, ei galleriapalkkioita.
Igor Mitoraj syntyi Oederanissa, Saksassa vuonna 1944 puolalaiselle äidille ja ranskalaiselle isälle, ja kasvoi Puolassa Krakovian lähellä. Hän opiskeli maalausta Tadeusz Kantorin johdolla Krakovian kuvataideakatemiassa, ja muutti sitten Pariisiin vuonna 1968 opiskelemaan École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Artsiin. Hänen uransa kuvanveistäjänä alkoi solonenäyttelyllä Galerie La Hunessa Pariisissa vuonna 1976.
Hänen tunnusomainen sanastonsa — leikatut torsonsa, sidotut päät, fragmentoidut raajat, suorakulmaiset aukot kehossa — amensivat kreikkalaisesta ja roomalaisesta veistoksesta samalla kun ne puhuivat täysin modernista tilasta. Hänen julkiset tilauksensa seisovat Pompeijissa, Lontoossa, Pariisissa, Roomassa, Milanossa, Varsovassa, Krakovassa ja Aasian halki.
Mitoraj kuoli Pariisissa 6. lokakuuta 2014 ja hänet haudattiin Pietrasantaan. Hänen kuolemansa jälkeen hänen markkinansa ovat vahvistuneet huomattavasti — vuoden 2025 Varsovan huutokaupparekordilla, jossa hänen monumentaalinen Tindaronsa myytiin 1,6 miljoonalla eurolla. Arvo riippuu teoksesta, painokoosta, mittakaavasta, kunnosta ja nykyisistä markkinoista. Varhaiset Artcurial-painokset (Tête Secrète, Kea, Prométhée) ovat halutuimpia. Lähetä kuva, niin annan rehellisen arvion.
En. Pietrasantan Atelier Mitoraj -todistukset ovat arvokkaita mutta eivät pakollisia — allekirjoitus, painosnumero ja valuimonleima ovat tärkeimmät todisteet. Monet aidot teokset liikkuvat ilman todistuksia, erityisesti 1980- ja 1990-luvuilla gallerioiden kautta myydyt. Ostan teoksia asiakirjojen kanssa ja ilman niitä, ja neuvon tarvittaessa todistuksen hankkimisessa.

Painosmäärä on ratkaiseva tekijä: Artcurial-pronssit painoksella 8 kpl (Prométhée, Kea, Tête Secrète) ovat paljon arvokkaampia kuin painoksen 1000+ teokset. Koko vaikuttaa myös — pöytäkoot 1 500–3 000 €:sta, monumentaaliset pronssit 20 000–100 000 €:sta ylöspäin. Lähetä kuva mittoineen, niin annan tarkan arvion.
