Éveken át volt egy Mitoraj-bronzom, és nem tudtam, hogyan adjam el privátúton. A válasz azonnali volt és az ajánlat méltányos. Mindent diszkréten intéztek el.
Eladtam egy örökölt Centurionét. A gyűjtő pontosan tudta, mi az, és 24 órán belül komoly ajánlatot tett. Egyszerű és professzionális.
Nincsenek aukciós díjak, nincs várakozás. Fényképeket küldtem és aznap ajánlatot kaptam. A fizetés gyors és biztonságos volt. Melegen ajánlom minden Mitoraj-tulajdonosnak.
Az aukciósházak a kalapácsáron 10–18%-os jutalékot számítanak fel — plusz 4–12 hét az értékesítés feldolgozásához, majd még egy hónap a kifizetésig. Az egész folyamat hónapokig tart, és a jutalék levonásra kerül. A közvetlen értékesítés azt jelenti, hogy még aznap ajánlatot kap, és néhány napon belül kifizetik, jutalék nélkül.

Számos tényező határozza meg egy Mitoraj-mű piaci értékét. A kiadás mérete a legfontosabb: egy 8 példányos Artcurial-kiadás (Prométhée) összehasonlíthatatlanul ritkább, mint egy 1500 példányos (Centurione II). A méret rendkívül fontos — egy 40 cm-es bronz háromszor-négyszer értékesebb, mint ugyanannak a témának egy 20 cm-es példánya. A patina állapota kritikus; a túlzottan megtisztított vagy restaurált bronzok jelentős értéket veszítenek. A proveniencia — az Atelier Mitoraj tanúsítványa vagy aukciós nyilvántartás — bizalmat ad, de ritkán döntő a jól dokumentált kiadásoknál. Az eredeti alap (travertino, márvány vagy fa a műtől függően) növeli a legtöbb asztali bronz értékét.

Mitoraj egy lengyel anyától és egy francia apától Németországban született, Tadeusz Kantor irányítása alatt tanult a Krakkói Képzőművészeti Akadémián, majd műtermét az olaszországi Pietrasantában alapította — ugyanazon kőbányák közelében, amelyek Michelangelo-t látták el márvánnyal.

Igor Mitoraj 1944-ben született Oederanban, Németországban, lengyel anyától és francia apától, és Krakkó közelében nőtt fel Lengyelországban. Festészetet tanult Tadeusz Kantor irányítása alatt a Krakkói Képzőművészeti Akadémián, majd 1968-ban Párizsba költözött, ahol az École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts-on tanult. Szobrászi karrierjét 1976-ban indította el a párizsi Galerie La Hune-ban tartott egyéni kiállítással.
Jellegzetes szókincse — csonkított törzsek, bekötözött fejek, töredezett végtagok, a testen átmenő derékszögű nyílások — a görög és római szobrászatból merített, miközben teljesen a modern állapotot szólaltatta meg. Nyilvános megbízásai Pompejiben, Londonban, Párizsban, Rómában, Milánóban, Varsóban, Krakkóban és egész Ázsiában állnak.
Mitoraj 2014. október 6-án halt meg Párizsban, és Pietrasantában temették el. Halála óta piaca jelentősen erősödött — 2025-ös varsói aukciós rekord vezérli, ahol monumentális Tindaro-ja 1,6 millió euróért kelt el. Nem. A pietrasantai Atelier Mitoraj bizonyítványai értékesek, de nem kötelezők — az aláírás, a kiadási szám és az öntöde jelzése az elsődleges hitelességi markerek. A példányszám a döntő tényező: az Artcurial 8 példányos bronzai (Prométhée, Kea, Tête Secrète) sokkal értékesebbek az 1000+ példányos munkáknál. A méret is számít — asztali méret 1.500–3.000 €-tól, monumentális bronzok 20.000–100.000 €+-tól. Küldjön fényképet méretadatokkal, és pontos becslést adok.
